In a nail-biting finale, Alex Iwobi, the former Everton and Arsenal midfielder, capitalized on a counter-attack, scoring in the seventh minute of added time, just moments after Harry Maguire seemed to have rescued a point for Manchester United.
Maguire seized an opportunity with a rebound in the 89th minute, nullifying Fulham’s Calvin Bassey’s 65th-minute strike.
