Both teams received one red card each during the encounter.
Cote d’Ivoire, the host of the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, will now face DR Congo in the last four on Wednesday.
Congo defeated Guinea 3-1 in a last 16 tie on Friday.
What Next? Following Ivory Coast’s victory, they will face the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who beat Guinea in the last eight, in the semi-finals of the competition on Wednesday in Abidjan. The AFCON final takes place on February 11.
